Our Mission and Vision.
At EmmiTec, we believe healthcare is more than a service—it’s a lifeline, a right that belongs to every person, no matter where they are. We envision a world where distance, circumstances, or resources no longer dictate the quality of care someone receives.
This unwavering belief fuels our passion for creating innovative solutions that empower individuals to take control of their health and their lives.
EmmiTec.Health is more than a platform; it’s a promise—a promise to deliver comprehensive, whole-patient care that is as personal as it is accessible. Our mission is to remove barriers to healthcare, ensuring every patient feels seen, supported and cared for on their terms.
Because when it comes to health, there is no “somewhere else” or “someone else.”
The time for change is now, and we are driven to lead it.

Our Story.
EmmiTec’s journey began in 2006 with a vision to create cutting-edge technology for industries like finance and retail, partnering with significant innovators such as Apple. But life had a different plan for us—a plan rooted in something far more personal and profound.
In 2017, our founder, Emilio Machado, faced one of the most brutal battles a family can endure: his mother’s long and grueling fight with cancer. Beyond the emotional toll, managing her care became a daunting challenge, filled with endless hospital visits, medication schedules, and scattered health records. For Emilio, the situation was made even more challenging by the physical distance—his mother was in Brazil while he was living in the United States. Coordinating her care, staying informed about her condition, and providing support across thousands of miles felt overwhelming and, at times, impossible. Emilio witnessed firsthand how the lack of streamlined communication and accessible health data made an already difficult journey even harder.
Driven by love and determination, Emilio turned his expertise into action. He created a digital health record for his mother—a tool that not only gave her doctors in Brazil a clear picture of her health but also allowed Emilio to stay connected to her care. This innovation not only improved her quality of life but gave Emilio something priceless: the ability to help and support his mother, even from afar. What started as a personal solution soon became a shared mission as colleagues and friends saw its potential to transform care for their loved ones, too. In 2018, EmmiTec made a bold decision to pivot entirely into healthcare, selling off its other divisions to focus solely on revolutionizing how care is delivered.
